Patch Features
The patch sticks on using Octopus-Inspired Wearable Biosensor that Sticks to Wet and Dry Skin. The special knitted pattern that imitates octopus arms allows the patch to attach using no adhesive for multiple uses for a limited amount of time. The patch uses a design with a variation of RFID (radio frequency identification) technology. It takes readings from the skin and beams them back to the nearby battery-powered receiver.
Digital features
The patch relies on web and app interfaces to present chronic pain data. The patch detects a baseline pain and compares it to your perceived pain.
